Dr. Shaun De Guzman is a local resident who went to Niles North High School and went to receive his Bachelor’s of Physiological Science from Marquette University . He continued his education and graduated from Marquette University with his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
During his time in school, he completed several clinical rotations around the country where he gained knowledge and training in orthopedics and rehabilitation. He enjoys treating a variety of patient populations, but his special interests are in sports rehabilitation, low back pain, shoulder pathologies, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
Dr. De Guzman utilizes a diverse treatment approach of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy techniques to improve his patients’ movement and function to attain their highest quality of life and is looking forward to giving back to the community in which he grew up in.
Outside of work, Dr. De Guzman enjoys being active by exercising, playing volleyball, hiking, and traveling. He also enjoys learning about different cultures and trying new foods.
